I would advise her to rely on the combined elements of rich factual knowledge, rich procedural knowledge, and lifespan contextualism. My advice would be to wait until she shared the same enthusiasm about the idea of becoming fully sexually active with a partner who would respect her feelings if she wanted to wait instead of trying to encourage her in that direction, ideally, in a more mature relationship. Ultimately, it may or may not be a mistake for her to lose her virginity now, but if it is a mistake, it cannot be undone afterwards. However, if she postpones her transition to full sexuality unnecessarily, there are no real negative irreversible consequences associated with that decisions, making that the much safe choice, given her apparent reluctance now..
